I am running windows XP pro and I have a Ford 2001 service manual Cd. I was always able to run this program until recently. I had to have the operating program installed etc. Now when I install and try to run the Ford program I get searching for View16.exe. I don't remember what I had to do if anything to get this program to run in the past. I don't know where to get View 16.exe.

    Any help will be appreciated.

The problem is when you repaired the windows, it deleted and uninstalled all the programs on the pc. but left the links to the programs in place. when you click the link to the program, it looks where the program used to be, and its no longer there.

What you can do, click start, then "find" type in view16* and see if you can find the .exe on the computer. maybe just search the 16. If you find it, right click and open file location. Then double click it to reinstall it.

If you dont find it you will need to find the CD or find it on the internet again. ( try google, yahoo, and the likes..).

    good luck

Paynesmannor was correct. I had to sear Ford and I found the old link. I deleted and the program now runs great.

    Thanks so much
