I have Satellite tv hooked up to a HD Tv in my living room. I would like to watch TV on my comuter in my den. I don't care whether it is HD or not. Can someone explain to me in easy language how to do this?

The best way to do this would be buy a Satellite tunner card for your PC. This will allow you to use your PC as a Satellite reciever.

Perhaps Slingbox could be another option. It connects to your Satellite TV box and the Internet so that you can watch Satellite TV from any location in and out of your home. You don't need your TV on to get access and the video quality is very good.
