I have weatherbug on three computers that until recently all went well. It still works fine on two but not on the win me. Now when it boots it goes straight to the taskbar without showing the desktop view. If I double click the taskbar temp nothing happens. If I exit the program then start it again it just goes to the taskbar without the desktop view. I uninstalled and reinstalled without any result. I think there's a connection as this happened after downloading and installing a bunch of of win me updates. Any suggestions? Thanks, Larry.

    Hiya

What happens if you rightclick the Temp in the taskbar? Are there any options to Show on desktop, or an Options er option :)

Just looking at the program from the main site, and if you can get it on your desktop via one of those ways above, what options does the top left hand icon do?

Its a white arrow pointing down.

    Regards

I've tried right clicking temp and left clicking open weatherbug to full view with no results, Larry.

I got it fixed. I uninstalled weatherbug and removed all traces of it in the registry with regedit. After rebooting I turned off the anti virus software and everything except systray and explorer. Then I downloaded it, reinstalled it, and now everything is fine. Like the old cliche, you think you're saving time by taking a shortcut and then it has to be redone the right way. Thanks for you suggestions, Larry.
