For about the past week audio issues. Audio randomly cuts out. Must turn off and turn on speakers and all is fine again for a few minutes, then cuts out again. Problem occurs both when streaming and/or listening to music on hard drive.

As of past 24 hours, now web surfing slow. 50% of time web page hangs, other times, it pulls up the page successfully.

Any ideas?

Tks

Why the HJT file? Do you suspect malare? Had AVG notified you of an infection at the time of the problem onset, or subsequently?

When did the computer last work well? When did the problem begin? Sometimes the exact date is important. What changed; a hardware or software installation or removal; an update to W7 [ check your W7 update history ] or update to your anti malware, or other antimalware program / programs ]; an update to Java or an Adobe program for example?

What steps, if any, have you tried to resolve the issue?

What happens if you play an audio CD?

Have you tried to update the drivers? If so, from where or how?

Have you uninstalled the audio drivers & installed new drivers from MSI?

Edit:

Which broswer? If IE9, try IE9 with no add ons. If FireFox, try FF in FF's safe mode, which is NOT THE SAME as W7's safe mode.

End Edit

Tks for the tips, tried audio CD, which then led me to try headphones. Turns out the speakers, after 5 years, are faulty. Headphones work fine.
