Solved: Weird HTML Syntax Error

    I have a webpage and I use Mozilla's Javascript console to check my scripts, but when I upload the files to the server I get a syntax error on the:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> field.

    Any suggestions...
