Hey all, I'm new here, I'm not sure if I'll be staying around, or whether it be a one time visit. Who knows. I may post a bit more if I find the time.

But here's the problem; I had a small problem on my computer (which I have since solved and forgotten) that made me open up the Help section of Windows XP. When I noticed this:

Now, some of you (or most), will notice that they are Mac OS X icons.
I never noticed when they changed, as I do have Windowblind and I do change skins fairly often. Though I never change icons, just skins, and wouldn't think a skin change would effect these particular icons.

I remember trying out a Mac OS X 'Lookalike' package, that changed several things, to make it look more Mac-ish. But I didn't like it, so got rid of it entirely. It's the only thing I can imagine left them behind.

Anything I could change to get the old icons back? In the registry perhaps? I can live with them, but it's right at the back of my mind that they are still there when they aren't meant to be!

Regards,

Marty

Have you tried turning Window Blind off and going to the themes in XP and changing it back to XP style?

Not sure if I'll post in this thread again or if it is a one time post. I'll try to help you fix the problem if I find time.

Hey all, I tried looking around Windowblinds' settings, and then turned it off altogether, going back to the standard XP theme. But to no avail.

Anything else?

Hey all,
It's not that I feel I'm bothering as such, I'm just unsure about signing up to forums etc, as it's just yet another thing I've signed up to that I might not even visit. (Not that I'll get any junk or anything from it). I'm sure you understand.
However, I do like helping people when I can, and maybe I do need a new forum to hang out at... So you may see me about a bit!

Regards,
Marty

We don't send "junk mail" from TSG.
Never said you did ;)

I'm just not fond of being a member for various things I'm not sure I'll visit again.
But I quite like this one.
