could someone please explain to me what "fdbpinger" is and why it is running on my computer? I have noticed this service in my administrative services.I can not for the life of me find out what it is or what it does,only that its something that is from toshiba.I have looked online everywhere and no one seems to have ah clue to what it does,what its for,or why its even there,only that its from toshiba.I have ah toshiba laptop running windows 7 x64. I have never seen this service before up untill now and its said to cause no threat..sooooooooooooo..why is it there and whats it for?? I have disabled it to no effect.so i just re enabled it..dont know.

It is indeed a Toshiba product and should not be disabled. It's function relates to connecting with hardware devices in the system or on a Network. Rest assured the process is quite safe.
