The difference between the two is only the speed. One is PC4200/533Mhz and he other is PC5300/667Mhz. Do you know what he has now? If not get CPU-Z and match it to whats in there now: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php Click on SPD and see if its PC4200 or PC5300. no need to get the faster and more expensice module only to be limited by your current RAM/CPU.

personally, i think hsi maximum will be the 4200, as thats what i run in my Inspiron notebook

high end stuff man
