Solved: What the heck is "Extension 1" on my network list?

    Nevermind. Turns out its an actual network. I should probably steer clear, though.
    There's a network called "Extension 1 in my network list.
    See?
    Also note that it appears I'm not connected to the internet (based on the icon.) I am connected to the internet, nonetheless.

    What is that, and what is it doing there? How do I get rid of it?

    It's probably a "repeater" that someone's got near you, to improve the range of their signal around their house or garden.
    You can't get rid of it while it's actually turned on and emitting a signal it will always show up while ever it's in range, just like any other network in your networks list. The others don't bother you so why does that one?
