Solved: What's wrong with my RAM???

    Hello I'm new in this forum :)

    i'm having a weird problem with my ram. i have 2 Gigs of ram in my PC
    when i'm using WinXP everythings fine! no prob at all. but when i upgraded to Vista Ultimate 32-Bit
    my RAM from 2045 MB goes down to 1750 MB. is my Ram broken or somthing??

    I understand that Vista deducts certain sections from the RAM size in order to give a better picture of what is availible. It subtracts the RAM which is serving as Graphics Memory, as well as that used by the kernel. I'm sure that if you added those in you'd get the full value.

    i already solved my problem. I upgraded to Win7
    many people say Win7 is alot better than vista.
