I downloaded some pics while in Yahoo Messenger - now I can't find them anywhere on my computer. (Needless to say I wasn't paying attention to where they were put.) Can anyone tell me where to look besides C drive folders or Search? Appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Download another and see where it is putting them. It will default to sending the next one to where the last one went.

It saved it in "receive" folder. But there's nothing in it. Feel so dumb - not sure what I am doing now.

Look under login, preferences, file transfer, should show the directory there.

Appreciate the replies - but neither turned up any pictures. Maybe they just didn't download to the C drive? I have searched files and folders, pictures, video, etc. with no results - and nothing is showing in file transfer. Thanks for trying to help me though. Appreciate it.

I think it's also possible to just view them without saving them, I've never transferred files via yahoo, but have with AIM and I think there is a choice somewhere when you accept the transfer.

Open up yahoo messenger. Go to Login at the top and pick preferences in the dropdown menu. Once that opens, click on File Transfer on the left side. The directories where items are downloaded are listed in the right side of the window.
