    Hi All,

I'm using Win7 64bit. Simple question: How can I tell which program is downloading a file from my internet connection? Any free tool that show which programs are downloading files? My internet connection was displaying active downloading, but I could see which program was doing the downloading. Thanks!

    Tom

Use the Resource Manager: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Resource Monitor, then switch to the Network tab. It will take a minute or so to populate, but it will show you which programs are using how much bandwidth.

I did a bunch of googling on this before I posted my q. For some strange reason all my google searches did not reveal the simple solution you gave me. Thanks!
