I don't see a thread on this one, I tried the Windows Internet Explorer 8.0 Beta 2 version from Sept 12 until just now. Anyone else experience the way this balky version acts? Two things drove me up the wall. 1. The slide bar on the right where you slide as you read the page just quits. So I'm clicking and holding, it starts to slide then stops. Alot. And with Vista premium with 2G of RAM I have plenty of steam for this to work right. The second was, and we all experience the 'cannot find the webpage' but this goes on and on, but, if you backtrack, always gets it the second time. I uninstalled it and just to check, loaded page after page with no problem. Now they might work on this, also the compatibilty issue. You should not have to stop work, go to the compatibilty page and add the page your trying to view. As an example, I was sent to the microsoft page and told to download windows 7 to see this particular page, and its my finanical page, until I figured it out. I tried it on my older XP and so far haven't used it enough to comment. Looking forward to any replies

There is no beta of Windows out at this time (unless you mean Vista). The beta is for Internet Explorer (the web browser that is no longer an integral part of Windows).

Use your link or go to Microsoft's website. It's all over the place.

Ignore all of this if you are just trying to be amusing, in which case, I'd ask the moderator to close this thread.
