Hi!

I just removed my DVD-ROM and replace it with a new CD-RW. The problem is that windows does not recognize my CD-RW and ZIP drives. THey don't appear anywhere in "My Computer". However, during boot-up, both devices appear as the secondary IDE master and slave drives.

When I checked the Device Manager, there are exclamation marks on Primary Ultra ATA Controller and Secondary Ultra ATA Controller. I have reboot the computer into Safe Mode and removed the Intel PCI Bus Master IDE Controller. Hoping that the next time I boot the computer, Windows will rectify this problem. Turns out that Windows detected new hardware and installed a suitable driver. But I still can't get the computer to recognize both CD-RW and ZIP drives.

Can someone please help me???
