I'm having problems faxing using this program. I have a new WIN 7 PC without a telephone jack. I installed successfully a 56K Dial-up USB modem. I put names and fax numbers in "New Contacts" and scanned a document to a fax page using the program.
Hitting SEND, I get the following message:

THIS MESSAGE COULD NOT BE SENT. THERE IS NO ACCOUNT CONFIGURED IN WINDOWS FAX AND SCAN. SAVE THIS FAX AS DRAFT, CONFIGURE AN ACCOUNT IN WINDOWS FAX AND SAVE, OPEN THE DRAFT AND THEN TRY SENDING.

How do I configured an account?

Is there another free faxing program that I should use rather than Windows FAx and Scan, which came with the PC

In "Windows Scan & Fax" did you go to "Tools" and "Account Setup"?

The only settings under Tools are
1. scan routing which I don't need
2. scan settings which I chose Documents as default

I've done the address book
There is no "account setup" to click

Type, "Fax" in the search box and it will get you to Win Fax and Scan.

Just begin the fax process and you should be prompted for Name, number, cover sheet, etc.
