I routinely move the windows update uninstall files to a folder on my external HDD for storage in case I may need one. I also notice there is a folder in my Windows folder $hf_mig$ which has a folder in it for each update. Just out of curiosity, just what are those files for? Can i safe;y move them to my external drive? At this point (after many updates, they are almost 1GB in size. No big deal, just trying to understand what they are about.
