    Hi everyone~

I cannot remove "Windows Live Essentials" from my system. I'm using Windows Vista.

Here is what I've tried so far.

    1. Control Panel
    2. Programs>>> Uninstall a program
    3. Highlighted Windows Live Essentials
    4. Right click to uninstall

Nothing happens, even after waiting for several minutes and after rebooting.

Anyone else had a similar problem? What else can I try?

    Thanks

    Beagle

    try this:

    1. Click on the Start button.
    2. Type C:\Program Files\Windows Live\installer\wlarp.exe on the Start Search box then press Enter.
    3. A new window will open. Select Uninstall and click on Continue.
    4. Select the Windows Live Program that you want to remove and click on Continue.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    When I try that Valis:

When I type that info into the search box and press enter, a little windows icon appears with "wlarp" beside it. When I click it nothing happens.

    Valis~

I located the actual "wlarp" file but for some reason it will not open. Any suggestions?

I saw another poster having the same problem and he tried it but with no success so I figured there was not point but I'll give it a try.

make sure you choose the advanced option to dump all the reg entries for it as well; reboot and see if it's still there. If so, we'll just get a bigger hammer. :)

Well done Valis. Revo Uninstaller removed it completely! Once again I am a happy camper. Thanks for all the help.
