Solved: Windows look changed on its own

    I guess it is my start menu won't switch out of classic mode even when I put it on the xin xp start menu style.
    It changed on its own after I rebooted after I did a antivirus scan, and I don't know why.
    Help please. can include a screen cap if you want.

    In control panel, display properties, appearance do you have the windows and buttons set to XP style?

    that's just it the windows XP style disappeared from appearance in the display properties.

    Download the Luna theme at
    http://castlecops.com/zx/flrman1/luna.zip

    Download it and unzip it to extract the luna.msstyles file it contains. Copy the luna.msstyles file to the C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna folder.

    Restart your machine and go to Display Properties and you should be able to choose the XP theme again.

    Spyware can sometimes cause that and you can make your own thread solved by using the Thread Tools at the top of the window.
