Solved: windows media player 11 won't re-install after system re-install

A rather nasty virus which was not recognized as such by anything but ASO's Startup/Autorun Manager necessitated a hd format and complete system re-install. I am quite pleased that, on the whole, everything is back up to snuff. All updates have been processed. When I attempt to re-install Windows Media Player 11, however, I repeatedly become frustrated by a "general access denied" error. There is only one user profile on my system and I cannot find/remember how to check and/or set access permissions. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I can manage to get WMP 11 to re-install, I would be extremely grateful. I use this computer in my work as a Sound Technician for a church and at a community theatre. I need to be able to use the features available in WMP 11 which are not found in WMP 10. Thanks in advance!
