    Hi
I have windows media player which came with my computer. I'm running windows vista. Last week the media player stopped recognizing cd/dvds. I've done a system restore and ran a check on my system which said everything was fine. Any idea what I should do next?

    Thank you.

What error are you getting? Or what exactly happens when you insert a DVD?

Thanks for responding. I don't get a message the cd/dvd player just doesn't recognize that there's a disk in the player. I've gone to dell and they ran tests etc. and it turns out that I have to have a new player installed. Thanks for your help anyway.
