    Ok, this past week whenever i turn my computer off it installs an update form Microsoft. When i go to add or remove programs, it doesn't appear that the update was installed. So for some reason, this update cannot install.

    Thanks for any help.

    Have you tried going to the Windows Update site and downloading that updates that way?

    It would help if you posted which one was failing, including the KB#.

    Try the first download now, or run Windows Update again.

    Open Notepad and copy and past the text below into a blank document. Save the file as SensLogn.reg, it must have the .REG extensions on it.

    Once saved double click the file to merge it into the registry and reboot the computer. try Windows update again.

    ----------------------------------------Copy Below--------------------------------------------
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\SensLogn]
    "DLLName"="WlNotify.dll"
    "Lock"="SensLockEvent"
    "Logon"="SensLogonEvent"
    "Logoff"="SensLogoffEvent"
    "Safe"=dword:00000001
    "MaxWait"=dword:00000258
    "StartScreenSaver"="SensStartScreenSaverEvent"
    "StopScreenSaver"="SensStopScreenSaverEvent"
    "Startup"="SensStartupEvent"
    "Shutdown"="SensShutdownEvent"
    "StartShell"="SensStartShellEvent"
    "PostShell"="SensPostShellEvent"
    "Disconnect"="SensDisconnectEvent"
    "Reconnect"="SensReconnectEvent"
    "Unlock"="SensUnlockEvent"
    "Impersonate"=dword:00000001
    "Asynchronous"=dword:00000001
