Solved: Windows Vista Network Connection Icon Saying I'm Not Connected

    Hi everyone. My Windows Vista's network connection icon in the system tray is showing that I am not connected to any networks when in fact, I am. What's going on? :confused:

    Mine does the same thing once in awhile, I just use it till I reboot next time, then its ok.

    I reinstalled Windows Vista Basic on my daughters computer because she forgot the admistrative password and I dont have a stick to reset it....We have a DSL connection....when it rebooted it cant find the LAN connection, and my AT&T installation disk doesnt work....I called AT&T and they couldnt help and told me to call Dell, which costs money I dont have...can aybody help me?

    You should switch to Verizon. They would offer you technical support for free. (y)
