a friend brought his computer to my house because it isnt starting. hes runnin xp home edition. i dont know the spec of this computer and nor does the owner. the computer starts to load but before the xp boot screen comes up, a black screen saying "an error had occured the previous time you had booted up, a hardware or software change my have caused this", it gives options such as Start Computer Normally, Change To Last Known Good Conifiguration, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking Support, what ever you click on safe mode, start normally it restarts shortly after the xp boot screen appears. can anyone help me
