looking at this page - its based on the 878 chip
http://www.hauppauge.com/html/sw_pci_selector.htm

looking for info on the 878 chip driver - found this
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/faq/support_faq_pci_winxp.html

from the forum page here
http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=19061
it might be worth trying a driver update via windows update - since MS seems to be supporting the PCI cards
find the device in device manager - probably will have a ? against and see if you can search for an update

You're kidding, right? That card won't even be able to tune any of the current channels. Bin it.

I actually have one of the previous models, it had it original floppy disk, it works great, so how about you "bin" your information. And for the first reply, thanks, it worked AND HAS ALL OF THE CHANNELS!

Glad you now have the device working,

Elvandil information was valuable and may have been very useful as there are some areas in the UK where you can only pick up digital channels, and we do not always know the full situation of posters, and you may have spent a lot of time looking for information to make the device work and then later found it would not pick up any signal anyway

BUT its also not really about winning or losing here , so no real need for some of your comments
