I have a USB port on my Toshiba Satellite p755, 64 bit, computer which doesn't seem to work. It beeps when I plug in the wireless plug in, but it does nothing with the mouse. If I change USB drives, it will work. What can I do?

Try plugging the mouse into a different usb port. The port your using now could be defective.

Change the batteries in the mouse?? Check that there is not heavy wireless interference!

Then that port may have been disabled to protect your machine. Go into device manager and delete that port (you may have to delete them all) They will be re-detected and the drivers will be refreshed when you plug something in.

Also your Toshiba has the following USB Ports
1-USB (3.0) port with USB Sleep and Charge, 3-USB (2.0)

Some mice will not work in a USB 3 port.
