I bought a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 6000. Ran the software Disk and about 90% completed and download froze up, Managed to get computer back and tried to install again two times more and get following message "Setup could not install a required component Microsoft Application Error Reporting. Restart your computer and try running set up again. If this error happens again see the readme file in Help for more information (Error code 1618). I was trying to use this mouse on a new HP laptop with Windows 8. Any help would be appreciated. Newsey
