My friends kid got on his work laptop and got it infected then tried to fix it himself so he would not get in trouble. It did'nt go so well.He just moved and has'nt found the box that have the disks for his computer yet.I had to use my xp disk to do a repair install just to get things working again.Could someone please look at his log for me?

Until the system is clean of viruses and trojans, your friend should not take the computer to work. If he connects it to the company network and infects other systems, he'll be in far more trouble than if he had just fessed up to letting his kid run wild on company equipment.

I would go so far as to say he should probably request it be completely reinstalled to be sure there are no threats.

Luckily he does not have to worry about that because he's the boss and it's a small company without a network.I've continued to update and repair things along with installing AVG AV and Defender which found nothing.
