Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have come accross an email thretening to suspend your internet, due to downloading copyrighted material (honest I haven't) ?

I recieved an email with the subject line "your internet access is going to get suspended" plus it had an attachment. So thinking this could be a bit iffy I did not open it I viewed the message through the message source in the properties of the email. I wanna know if it is from a legal source of just a ply to get me to open the email and infect my computer.

This is what the message says:

Hi all,

Just found it on the web. This is a scam. The e-mail is infected with a virus.

Thanks,

You should never be emailed about this, you'd hear about it via post or phonecall. Thanks for the heads up with this email, hopefully some people will watch what they open now. I believe you can report these scams at http://castlecops.com :)

I hope you edit your email address in the post above because spambots will get it and start spamming you.
