Hello, my computer has been running pretty well...but i sometimes worry about what may be on it viruses, ad-ware, spyware, who knows what else. I have decided to do various scans, ect. to insure it's clean. So far I have done a SBC Yahoo protection spyware scan and an ewido anti-malware scan. Sbc found some spyware, trojans, etc. (four items to be exact) and i deleted them. Ewido removed 2 items (if needed i saved the report). So now, what should i do next. Any ideas of what scanners to use, ect. Just tell me what to do and I'll listen:D Thanks in advance.

Edit: I will also be online for another hour or more..so if you are able to reply now, you're more than welcome to:) Thank you.

    * Click here to download HJTsetup.exe.
    Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.

Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

    Log looks clean (y)
One last thing you can do is run an online virus scan to see if it finds anything.

    Run ActiveScan online virus scan:
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm

Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button.
A new window will open...click the Check Now button.
    Enter your Country.
    Enter your State/Province.
Enter your e-mail address and click send.
Select either Home User or Company.
Click the big Scan Now button.
If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it.
It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan.
When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Post the contents of the ActiveScan report.

    Pretty much all cookies.

Anything dodgy in the registry usually gets cleaned up by running anti-spyware programs like Ad-Aware or SpyBot.

    Ad-Aware SE: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html

Install the program and launch it.
First, in the bottom right-hand corner of the main window click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download the latest reference files.
