    Hello,

I brought a new laptop that had no OS so I did a fresh install of Windows XP SP2. I went to my computer's manufacurer's website

    http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp?BV_SessionID=%40%40%40%401678667277.1224102306%40%40%40%40&BV_EngineID=cccjadefgmjgedjcgfkceghdgngdgmm.0&ModelDLOS=null&ModelDLCat=null&BV_SessionID=%40%40%40%401678667277.1224102306%40%40%40%40&BV_EngineID=cccjadefgmjgedjcgfkceghdgngdgmm.0&ListType=Model&ct=DL&moid=1364120&rpn=PSPA0U&OrderBy=D&PublicStartIndex=0&PrivateStartIndex=0&PublicCutOff=&PrivateCutOff=&AddOldPublicItems=false&AddOldPrivateItems=undefined&all_docs=false#PublicList

and downloaded the sound diver I needed. I check device manager to see if it was successfully installed and it was... but I also saw some yellow ? or ! next to device names.... they were

    Ethernet controller
    Mass storage controller
Modem Device On High Definition Audio Bus
    Network Controller
    SM bus controller
    video controller
    video controller (VGA Compatible)

I went to the website again to download the above but I couldn't find it there were do I get EACH ONE from??

    Many thanks!

Did you install the chip set drivers first?

    This is your laptop model , I assume - Satellite P105-S6024 ?
If so , from your earlier link refine your search to XP SP2 from All Operating Systems and Driver from All Categories . This'll give you a list with Intel Chipset Drivers for XP about 10 down from the top (actually #8 just now , dated 03-16-2006) . Instal that and let's take it from there with any remaining missing drivers ...
