In my control panel-Devices and Printers there is a yellow triangle with a ! over"my PC" I right clicked and noticed the same yellow figure in front of "Troubleshoot" I left clicked troubleshoot and got the message " An error occurred while troubleshooting. A problem is preventing troubleshooting from starting" I can't see any problems with my PC but I'm interested what the cause is.
Windows 7 installed. Computer Acer Aspire

If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to copy the program across to the faulty PC
Save the file to a USB flash drive or other removable media. Plug it into the working computer with internet access and copy the file and paste here.
windows key and pause Key should open to allow device manager to be seen on laptops may need to use windows key + FN key + Pause Key
if not then
Start > control Panel {Vista set to classic view}> system > {Vista, device manager on left hand side} {XP hardware Tab, device manager button} >

start > control panel> System and Security> Device Manager
network adaptors, click on the+ > post back the devices listed there

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file.

There was a memory card on the PC. I removed it but it doesn't seem to be a difference. Model Acer M3910 . Perhaps I should just delete the effected drives and reboot?
I tried but after the reboot all the all the USB drives I deleted didn't come back but in there place I got "WPD filesystem volume driver " five times with the yellow triangle in front.

try a system restore
Start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore
choose a date before the issue
WPD stands for Windows Portable Device.
The driver that treats your Memory , CF and SD cards and USB sticks as a devices for Media Syncing.
I suspect it is the 5-1 media card
right click on the device with a yellow!
Properties
Click on the Details Tab
Under Property - drop down
Select hardware ids
Right click and select all.
Then right click again and select copy.
Copy and paste that here.
