    1) Go to My Computer/View/Folder Options (or alternatively Control Panel/Folder Options in ME)
    2) Click the 'File Types' tab.
    3) In the 'Registered file types' list box, select the file type for which to enable the prompt.
    4) Click 'Edit...'. (The 'Edit File Type' dialog box appears.)
    5) Select the 'Confirm open after download' check box and click 'OK'.
    6) Click 'OK'.

    In XP:

    1) Go to My Computer/Tools/Folder Options.
    2) Click the 'File Types' tab.
    3) In the 'Registered file types' list box, select the file type for which to enable the prompt.
    4) Click 'Advanced'. (The 'Edit File Type' dialog box appears.)
    5) Select the 'Confirm open after download' check box and click 'OK'.
    6) Click 'OK'.

    Cheers,
