    Hi all

I'd be grateful for any suggestions or advice on the follwing problem.

    DETAILS:

    Windows 2000 Professional
    Dell Optiplex desktop pc.

I provide second line support to a remote site up in Scotland.
There is one user who has a strange problem on her pc.

    PROBLEM:

I need to run a setup.exe file on her pc. If I double click it, nothing happens.
This happens for other icons too. However some work fine such as "My Computer" and "My Documents".

    THINGS I HAVE TRIED:

    1. Logged on as myself, same problem.
    2. Copied the file else where to the pc and tried from there.

Other than that I'm a bit stumped. I'd love to reload the pc but because of the location its difficult to arrange.

    Any ideas?
