Some sites dont work

    I tried IE 7 and firefox and only some websites work. www.cnn.com, google, msn work. But i i cant search on google. All the browser does is it loads forever and the page doesnt show up. The only way i can get a site to work is if i put it as a homepage

    the exact same thing is happening to me, only as of today, both in firefox and ie, have you got a popup for normand-finance? i think its related, im thinking malware so im running some checks now, ill let you know if it works out.

    no idea what caused it, but try putting in your xp disk and running a "sfc /scannow", seems to have fixed it for me, as well as the problems that occured shortly after the browser problem, including the loss of explorer.exe
