I'm not sure what's going on, but I have a PC that is freezing up on me from time to time. Production PC in the studio. No gaming, etc.. Running NAV on it. All current updates, etc.. in tact.

Here is a highjack log. Can anyone see anything spooky?

    TIA

    Additional information:

I keep getting a Windows Installer on the screen like it's trying to install software. My outlook express doesn't work either. I get this message when trying to launch it. Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded.

I also see this in the application log, within the event viewer.
Detection of product '{328C93C2-4FC3-4E12-AAE5-7D9B27043691}', feature 'CommonFiles' failed during request for component '{997FA962-E067-11D1-9396-00A0C90F27F9}'

In the system log I'm seeing this as well: The Control Protocol EAP in the Point to Point Protocol module C:\WINNT\System32\rasppp.dll returned an error while initializing. The network request is not supported.

    Your log looks clean.

You may want to try some of the Windows Installer fixes here.

Thanks for the link. I just noticed that if Internet Explorer is closed, and I open it, the installer program kicks in for some reason. That's the only time I notice it happening... ?

I'll run the fix's per the link you provided.

    Thanks
