ok, just recently my computer had a problem starting up. Sometimes the harddrive wouldn't be detected or it would just hang. I got past that problem and the computer runs now, but when I boot up, I usually have about 12 icons in the taskbar and now it only shows 4. I use all the icons and I like having them up but I don't know why it stopped showing them. here's my hijack log:

go to start>run>and type "%temp%" (without the quotation marks) and delete everything. Then go into your c: drive and under windows , click on prefect and delete everything.
Now go into your control panel > internet options > settings > view files > delete everything (cookies).
Let me know hows it going after that , you should be running alot smoother. I see it's still kind of quiet out there to your original question so i hope i'm helping you out a little.
