Now the trees are almost green.
But will they still be seen?
When time and tide have been.
    Fall into your passing hands.
    Please don't destroy these lands.
    Don't make them desert sands.

Free Bird by Skynyrd. Spent too much time in a pool hall as a teen. Seems like Skynyrd was the choice band back in the day. Fond memories of the 70's. (y)

Too many to list, really, but one that sticks out is Rocket by Smashing Pumpkins.

Hmmm...I suppose the song that most aptly described my high school years would be Harper Valley PTA....Or maybe I'm confusing that with my classmates and their parents?

Songs that described me in high school though would probably be any song about rebellion, partying, or being in love (because I always thought as a teen that I was "in love"--until I found it, then I KNEW.) :)
Here I Go Again ~ Whitesnake
    I Love Rock'n'Roll ~ Joan Jett
    Redneck Woman ~ Gretchen Wilson
Bad Girlfriend ~ Theory of a Deadman
    Walking Away ~ Clint Black
Fight for Your Right ~ Beastie Boys

...and probably quite a few others that aren't coming to mind right now...
