Hi I hope someone can help me.

Today I noticed whenever I hover over the battery icon, it says BATTERY IS NOT DETECTED.
But the laptop is still working fine.
Is there a way of getting rid of this message myself?

I have a Sony Vaio and the model number is VGN-NW20EF

Have you checked the status of the battery to see if its even charging? if not then that might be the reason for the message and it should be replaced.

    Hi Sue

I checked the battery status and it says BATTERY CHARGE IS GOOD
When I click on DETAILED INFORMATION, it says BATTERY CHARGE CAPACITY IS GOOD
And there's 4 green lights underneath.

So do you know how I can get rid of the NO BATTERY IS DETECTED message when I hover over the battery icon?
    Laptop's still working fine.
