Apologies folks, I have for some reason, suddenly been inundated with 9 additional desktop items, a new IE toolbar, a new and 'always comes back' internet explorer homepage which is netsearchsoft. I post here my Hijackthis log.

I have the latest Adaware reference file, and have run both this and Spybot but this darned godforsaken wicked stuff still remains there...

    Please can someone advise.

Not sure what this is, if you do know and want to leave it, do so.

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

That's a new one to me, never ran across it before. You do have a firewall?
    Did you keep this
    C:\PROGRA~1\EGGSLO~1\Tick Exit.dll ??

If so mind if I ask what it is?
