Using Office 2000. Have several hundred pages (on 4x6 card format) that have been entered randomly, each one page long, each with a title, each all text. I would like to sort alphabetically these pages (by first word on the card), and even better, as I enter new cards, have them permanently appear in the proper order. Years ago, used to be able to do this with old DBase program, and maybe this project should have been started in Access, but it is in Word now. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks, [email protected]

I've had a look at this doc ; it literally is a card index file.

Exporting is not really an option due to no consistency in the format(ting). I've recommended applying a heading style to each title & building a TOC (sample file sent).
