    HI All

How do I find out if the line-in 3.5mm jack connector at the back of my PC on my sound card is stereo or mono - is there a way to find this out?

I have a Korg Synth that I want to connect to my PC and record a .wav file through the line-in connector...

Unless it's a very unusual sound card, it's a three conductor jack and supports stereo. You can pick up the cable with the plug and two RCA plugs from Radio Shack for a few bucks to use it.
