Sound Device Disabled in XP

    I recently re-installed Windows XP. But upon the re-install, the sound device became disabled. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you. Carl

    you will probably need to install some drivers

    make and model of the pc

    In the process of re-installing Windows XP, I did disable the sound. So, I downloaded the driver and re-installed the driver. That solved it.
