So, good afternoon my fellow IT lovers, i got a sound related problem which i caused myself and unable to resolve myself.

in short, i was deleting some un-used files via control panel and something went wrong, sound is gone, it appears that my sound card can no longer be detected by the computer (i tried multiple softwares and all of them tend to say "no sound card detected".

stuff i tried:
-resetting BioS to default. (did nothing)
-downloading drivers and installing them(was impossible, due to card not being found)
-backup (there are no files present, so backup is impossible)

when headphones are connected device manager does not recognize hardware and asks to install drivers for it. it fails to find ones, i even tried manually downloading and installing. did not help.
if possible i would love to find the solution without disassembling computer, due to its age it might not be possible to reassemble it.

windows xp :)

had multiple headaches from this one, help will be highly appreciated
