Sound Problem

    Ok i got no sound When i go to the volume control to turn it up it beeps at me I got onBoard sound on my Motherboard what do i need drivers ???

    if you go to device manager, do you have any devices listed under sound and multimedia? do any of them have any problems with them? Do you have any unknown devices or any other devices that aren't working correctly?

    If you have on board sound I would boot up and go into setup. I think you can check there to see if the sound is enabled or disabled.

    Ok i made sure my sound wasnt disabled in bios ....I uninstalled the drivers a bunch of times but when i goto install the Advance AC'97 Audio For VIA (R) Controller it says its having trouble copying system files and i have to find them manually....I still have NO sound....Also windows says that its not passed windows logo testing argh........Hellllllpppppppppppp......

    Anyone ?? Could it be cause theyre not signed my M$ ....

    If you have Windows XP and the drivers are not signed that could definitely be the problem. I would start by going to your mobo's manufacturer's site and see about getting the latest updates.

    now if i can only figure out why it keeps changing the level of sound when i change songs in winamp playlist......
