When i try to go through my mic in jack, it does not record, and when i try putting a sound card that is seperate from my motherboard it does not record either. Sound is enabled and i can play cd's and do digital video but i cant record any sound. So what do i have to do to get it to work. It's an Aopen motherboard, ax3s.

    Hi danphillips7, welcome to TSG.

First, let's try this, open up the sound recorder and try recording something......does the green line spike at all?
