Sound stopped on xp

    Ok i just bought new computer less than 2 months ago 1 day i was on paltalk then i tried to listen to a song on a diferent program then my speakers stopped working.i started getting no sound,i tried using diferent speakers and headphones nothing worked i looked at my hardware and it said the device was working properly what is wrong? how do i fix it :confused: :confused: :confused:

    Right click one of your mp3's or a sound file then click Properties. Make sure the "Open with" program is the one you want to open music etc. It will then use that program for all your music files.
