I have no sound from internet or cd-rom. The only sound I get are the ones the Canon-printer is sending out. Then I hear 'Printing has started' or 'stopped'. I have Windows 95 on my pc. When a sound should he beard he gives error 00040258.
I loaded again Windows Media Player from internet but it didn't help. What's going one?

Go to Control Panel and click on sounds, see if you have a sound scheme loaded, and test them, if you do not hear anything when you click on these sound, there might be something wrong with your sound card, or sound card driver, in which case you want to re install the sound card driver.
