I loaded a Crystal 4281 soundcard on my son's computer last night when I reloaded the O/S. The soundcard worked great on Win 95, but now it has a loop--for example, if you play a "ding", it goes "ding, ding, ding.........". I have tried another PCI slot; downloading a driver off the manufacturer's website; and looked for conflicts and/or missing drivers all to no avail. Any suggestions other than buying him a new 2 GHz machine? (He would LOVE that!)

    O/S: Win 98 SE
    AMD K6 300
    64 megs RAM

Thanks and have a SAFE & Happy New Year!
