I am in the UK and the HDD has gone down - no restore disks

My option is to buy a new copy of Win 7 and hunt for the drivers on the net - which I have been unsuccessful in so far.

Also came across a set of Setup disks from Asus for $30 for this particular model of Notebook - would any be available in the UK, or even for download ?

Asus have not replied to my email.....

    Thanks

Asus should be your source for a set of Recovery DVDs and for drivers. Drivers are downloadable.

I can't give you a URL direct to the drivers page, but if here you can select the Product (Notebook), Series (U50) and Model (U50F), click on Search, then select the OS (Windows 7 or Windows 7 64bit) and click Search again you will arrive at your destination.
