Hi I realise this may have been discussed a lot already but I think my case is a little different. I installed service pack 2 on a computer running windows xp and found that it was making my computer a bit strange, so clever me I decided to unistall it. While it was unistalling the computer froze and I had no choice but to turn it off. When it restarted I received the following bluescreen message

Stop:c0000135 unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because winsrv was not found. Reinstalling may fix the problem

Well I dont know how to reinstall it and and no matter what way I attempt to start the computer, (safe mode and the like) it will just go to this message. I tried putting my xp cd in but the computer doesn't seem to detect that its in there, so I dont think I can do the recovery console thing . I dont have any idea what to do, so any help would be really appreciated
Thanks in advance

When you first switch on your copmputer, Sara, tap the DELETE key a few times to go into the BIOS menus. In the Advanced settings you need to change the boot sequence which is probaly set as
1. Floppy
2. Hard Drive 0
3. CD ROM
and you need to change it to 1. CD ROM so that the computer boots up from your Operating System CD where you will find the Recovery Console or, at worst, be able to reinstall.
